[R362R, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort] is offering two different midwinter lodging packages that can save skiers and riders money. The packages bundle up lift tickets and lodging, while adding on extra perks like carbon credits and maple syrup.

The Stay, Ski, and Save Green package matches up lodging at 968 Park Hotel with a lift ticket for Sierra-at-Tahoe. Extra perks in the package include a bottle of Northern California wine at check-in, enough carbon credits to offset a roundtrip drive from the Bay Area, complimentary shuttle service, and 15 percent off merchandise at Sierra Mountain Sports.

The 968 Park Hotel, a certified eco-friendly lodge, features an indoor hot tub, covered parking, and spa. The hotel package, which is based on double occupancy, costs $99 per person midweek. The Stay, Ski, and Save Green package is available through the end of Sierra's ski season, with the exception of blackout dates Jan. 16-17 and Feb. 12-20. Use the promotional code "snow" when booking reservations.

Sierra-at-Tahoe is jumping into Olympic Fever with a Go for the Gold package, which includes lodging at Inn by the Lake and two adult lift tickets. Additional perks include a welcome basket with an autographed photo of U.S. Snowboarding team member Hannah Teter, a bottle of Hannah's own maple syrup, and a bottle of champagne.

The package is valid Feb. 12-28, concurrent with the 2010 Winter Games, which you can catch on television in the inn's sports bar. Packages start at $155 for a standard queen room.
