School of Snow
Instructing over one million skiers and snowboarders at the Blowing Rock, NC resort for the past 37 years, the college has earned a reputation as the best ski school in the south.
Along with conducting lessons for youth groups, scouts and 4-H clubs, the college has also taught U.S. Army Green Beret platoons, U.S. Navy Seals, West Point instructors, U.S. Marines and Secret Service agents.
According to their Web site it takes the average skier or snowboarder three lessons to feel comfortable and in control on more difficult terrain. In that vein, the school offers group three-lesson breakthrough packages for just $43.
The college's teachers also have experience training thousands of handicapped athletes in Special Olympic programs.
