Springtime is in the air, even in the highest of the Rocky Mountains, and [R456R, Telluride Mountain Resort] wants to get skiers and ‘boarders up to the slopes before the lifts close for the season.

The southwestern Colorado resort has rolled out several deals that combine lodging and lift tickets priced below the regular-season rates – and tossed in a fundraiser on St. Patrick’s Day to boot.

For spring-breakers who make it to the San Miguel River valley, Telluride Resort Lodging offers stay-and-ski packages that include four nights in a fully equipped condo and three days on the slopes, starting at $125 per person per night. If luxury appeals, the resort will lay out five nights in at the Hotel Madeline and four days of tickets, starting at just $146 per person per night.

For dates and availability, call 800.778.8581.

Telluride’s lifts run until April 8, and the resort has put up a four-for-three lodging and lift ticket package. For guests who book three nights at any Telluride Resort-operated accommodations, the fourth night comes free.

On March 17, wearin’ of the green – or any weird and wacky costume – will help raise money for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program, which runs activities for people with disabilities and wounded vets of the Afghan and Iraq wars. For a $10 donation, teams of up to four skiers and riders who dress up join other teams in a scavenger hunt all around the mountain. Winners get gear from scavenger hunt sponsor New Belgium Brewery and other prizes.
