The Homestead Prepared for All Winter Tastes
Temps are slightly above freezing in Hot Springs, Va., but expected to drop in time for President's Day Weekend with flurries and snow showers expected.
The 45 acres of skiable terrain offers wide open trails and is a great destination for Virginians learning to ski. But with terrain that is about one-third black, Homestead does have some more challenging skiing and riding.
If skiing or snowboarding is not your bag, check out the Olympic-size skating rink, snowshoeing, snow tubing, cross-country skiing or guided snow-mobile tours.
