For some, the Christmas-New Year’s holiday is about skiing and snowboarding but, for most everyone, it’s also about eating some great food. So, the Park City Restaurant Association has put out a menu of possibilities for meals during this holiday season at the Utah ski resort town.

The Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge puts out a prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve, for $140-150 adults and $30 for children ages 5-12, with the first seating at 5:30 p.m. Guests also can chow down on a Christmas Day buffet in the main lodge from 11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m; a Christmas night buffet spread from 5 to 7 p.m; and New Years Eve prix fixe dinner and New Years Day brunch buffet. The Deer Valley Bakery will re-vitalized its famed Tiramisu Chocolate Yule Log for the holiday season, with meringue mushrooms, candied cranberries and a chocolate leaf. Bakery orders may be placed by calling 435-645-6623.
