Connecticut Hills Welcome Cold Return
Colder temperatures are racing into Connecticut and snowguns are armed and dazzling. Take Mohawk Mountain. Hanging on to every bit of machine-made snow, Mohawk made it through the weekend before shutting down to turn all forces to snowmaking for most of this week.
Ski Mount Southington has been shut down for the better part of a week, but also looking for a return for the long Martin Luther King Day weekend. Ski Sundown tried working through Saturday and awaited colder temps.
