With the Thanksgiving holiday fast approaching, it's time to pack the suitcase, stock up on beer and wine, and travel to the in-laws', grandparents' or folks' house for a belt-bursting feast with family. If you're headed north for turkey and stuffing, don't forget to pack a swimsuit because [R192R, Jay Peak] has just announced that the Pump House will be open for the weekend.

Nearly three weeks ahead of schedule, the Pump House Indoor Water Park will offer holiday travelers the chance to get first splashes in the new facility. The park, which stays heated to a balmy 80 degrees throughout the winter, includes everything from water slides, to climbing walls, wave pools, hot tubs, a poolside bar and more. One of the most exciting features is La Chute, the indoor aqualoop that drops 60 veritical feet a second and is the only one of its kind in the country.
