"Firn" is the name of the corn snow which is typical during March and April in the Arlberg region. It's the most beautiful time of the year for many skiers and snowboarders because temperatures can reach 20° Celsius in the afternoon. The "Fine-Wine" event April 3-12 takes wine lovers from the Donau to the Rhône, from the German Pfalz to the Champagne and the Bordeaux and, after a visit at the Piemont and the Toskana, it ends at the "New World" in California. But that's not really the end of the culinary trip, because Lech's friends from Kampen (Germany), Hakuba-Happo (Japan), and Beaver Creek (USA) bring the best specialities from their region for the Sister Resort Party.
