The temperatures are rising here in the Mid-Atlantic region and at Camelback you can ride from the top of the mountain right down to the beach on March 8 and March 9. The resort is bringing in more than a ton of sand and palm trees into the bar to create a beach party. Flashback will be playing March 8. Dr. Cheeko will spin records on Sunday as you take part in limbo contests and enjoy drink specials. Also, on March 8, Camelback will host the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge which is open and free for all skiers and boarders. There is another event in the Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series March 9. Visit snowboardseries.com to preregister.
