Monterosa Ski Resorts

Those who visit Monterosa Ski for the first time are often amazed by the spectacular landscape. For the last 30 years Monterosa Ski has offered skiers days filled with discovery and enjoyment. Slopes and lifts in Monterosa Ski represent an extraordinary experience. Great care is taken with preparing the slopes, and new ways to go up the mountains, with an eye on the environment, are constantly being explored.

Monterosa Ski ski lifts are the flagship of the resort: there are 33 lifts, most of them newly built or renovated. From a minimum of 1212 m to the 3.275 m of Punta Indren the lifts bring skiers to the foot of Monte Rosa. The slopes are great for all ability levels, including children and beginners.

Nearly 200km of trails cover the slopes of the resort. There are numerous routes to take, immersed in a variety of contexts: 40 slopes for intermediate skiers, 18 for beginners and 6 black slopes for experts. More than 170 km of slopes are covered by snow canons so that high quality skiing is guaranteed all season long.

There's a lot of choice at Monterosa Ski including a variety of starting points for your day. You can ski out of Champoluc and Frachey in Valle d’ Ayasor else Antagnod, Brusson and Gressoney-Saint-Jean, which are all connected by convenient ski buses. Every year Monterosa Ski hosts the well-known Trofeo Mezzalama ski mountaineering competition, which puts hundreds of athletes from around the world to the test.
