It is a great hill.
I have been going to this hill since I was little and now at a level where I do double blacks when I can I always have fun here.
My only problem is that they don’t have many upper level runs.

This is my local ski hill. I love the low cost, easy access, relaxed vibe and absence of lift lines. I'm a telemark skier, and I stick to the few green runs and just enjoy dropping free-heel turns with plenty of elbow room. Indoor facilities are limited, but frankly I rarely use them anyway. Lifts are slow, but hey, its a good tradeoff. A much more pleasant experience than the "industrial" resorts like Big Sky. Great Divide is a genuine Montana experience. Hope that it stays that way. Looks like they've dropped the "pay by the hour" lift ticket deal they used to offer. But hey, prices are still pretty low.
Family friendly, low cost, no lines
limited green runs

You can't get more skiing per dollar any where else unless you own your own mountain. Nothing fancy, just honest to goodness skiing and riding for all skill levels. They go out of their way to make it easy for parents to get their kids involved in the sport. If you are looking for designer boutiques and fancy restaurants you must be lost, go back to CO! This is the place you go if you love the sport. The bar is fun and friendly, again nothing fancy here. I guarantee you'll make new friends though!
Best Ski Value in the Rockies

Great local ski mountain where you can bring the family or just play on your own. The outer mountain rocks with good glades and powdery snow. There are lots of park features.

Great Divide is a fun local hill. The lift tickets are the cheapest I have seen in awhile, and considering the size of the hill, it's a good deal. Like most people have stated, they don't get a ton of snow but when they do it's a blast. Plus they have a very impressive terrain park.
Bang for your buck
not a lot of snowfall
