It was icy in the start then it became clear and warm witch made it slushy

They’ve been making snow and have tons of runs open (not all of course). For a tough winter of almost no snow across the upper midwest, they’ve really created some great conditions. They are making snow. Three lifts were open today. Runs open are groomed but snow is hard in places. Had a good time in spite of the hard places. Not many people on the lifts late afternoon. Thanks to the folks running snow makers.

Despite below zero temps, the wind was minimal and the cord was great. Still found fresh cord at 2pm. Minimal people because of temps, but was great and fast skiing!

Opening weekend for the 2021/22 season is 12/4 and 12/5. Only season pass holders, trifecta pass holders, and labor day/cyber Monday early purchase lift rocks are being honored this weekend. 2 lifts running, 3 runs open

Awesome spring skiing at Welch Village! Telemarking skiing rocks! Not sure about the reporting on this site. All lifts open and probably 90+% of listed runs, but report states 5/10 lifts and 32/50 runs open here, huh!?

About 3" of fresh snow. Exceptional skiing and able to make fresh tracks all morning.

Great conditions. Groomers on packed powder and machine made with no icy spots. Mid week is great with no lines.

1/17...Great groomed conditions for the morning including the steep Back Bowl. Unfortunately with limited natural snow this year and some warmer days runs get skied out and icy fast. Tailgating is the bomb this year. Always a good time at Welch!!
