Scott Vertic GTX 3L Women’s Jacket review. OnTheSnow reviewed this shell jacket as part of its 2016/2017 Jacket Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Don’t let its minimalist/streamlined appearance fool you, this is one tech savvy jacket. The underarm vents on this puppy don’t mess around, they’re among the longest of all jackets we tested for some serious heat dumpage. We’re also a fan of the unique zippered neck gusset with air holes--breathing and staying warm, both key to skiing.

Room for Improvement: We’d punch up the color pops if we had our druthers, but Scott does that really well in the rest of its women’s line, so we’ll just shut our pieholes instead.

Fit: This jacket runs true to size, and we’ll reiterate how happy we are to see Scott breaking out U.S. and Euro sizing.
