Patagonia Women's Insulated Snowbelle Jacket review. OnTheSnow reviewed this insulated jacket as part of its 2016/2017 Jacket Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: This jacket had us at SIA with its cool woodsy pattern that’s a standout in a sea of solids. The H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer is also noteworthy in its soft hand both inside and out and 24 Killer Wash testing process to identify and eradicate durability breakdowns. Bonus points for some recycled fabric in the mix.

Room for Improvement: Powder skirts are nice, but not on a groomer day; this jacket has a fixed powder skirt, but on the upside, it doesn’t restrict movement or feel intrusive.

Fit: Flattering and perfect for multi-layer ladies, the Snowbelle fits on the generous side of true to size, especially in the arms on both length and girth.

On-Snow Performance:: Lightweight, comfortable, stylish and warm on a 35-degree and snowy day, this jacket did its job so well, the underarm vents provided the perfect means of climate control. Plenty of internal/external pockets provided an ideal amount of storage space, and we also appreciated the all the attention to detail in the form of adjustable wrists, two-way adjustable hood and powder skirt.

Manufacturer Description: Updated this season with an attached hood, exposed waterproof center-front zip and a lighter-weight insulation package for better versatility, this fully featured H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer jacket has an articulated fit for freedom of movement and a smooth taffeta liner for ease of layering.
