2016/2017 Dynastar Cham 2.0 W 107 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Powder Category.

The widest in a three-ski series of women’s freeride models, the Cham 2.0 W 107 impressed testers with powder performance, but had less stellar scores for playfulness. “It has a great profile for powder, but may feel heavy for some,” says Brown. Dynastar updated a triple blend of rocker, sidecut and construction in order to add versatility and ease-of-use. Details include full-length vertical sidewalls, binding reinforcement and a lightweight paulownia and fiberglass core. The progressive five-point sidecut creates a smearing-friendly wide forebody—wider than the rockered 137-mm tip, with a taper down to the 107-mm waist—and a hard snow-oriented rockered pin tail. “It’s a predictably stable ski for the solid intermediate through expert skier,” says Balandina.
