2016/2017 Line Supernatural 108 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s Powder Category.

“This traditional-feeling ski can charge big lines or arc on the groomers, but it can be unforgiving in crud or tight trees,” says Cole of the Supernatural 108. The second widest in a line of five Supernatural skis, the 108-mm-waisted ski has a shape similar to its brethren, including a fivecut geometry that creates five different radii shapes blended into the sidecut. The Shockwall construction includes Line’s Maple Macroblock core, assembled with two full-length maple stringers surrounded by aspen, and sidewalls made from shock-absorbing elastomer material surrounded by ABS plastic. As with the other skis in the series, the Supernatural 108 has a soft, rockered tip and a stiffer tail. Testers gave the ski high marks for float, but were less impressed with stability. “It felt light and agile like a park ski but had some tip slap at speed on the hardpack,” says Hill.
