Marker has upgraded the Duke, its big mountain freeride alpine touring (AT) binding, with Extended Power Frame (EPF) Chassis, making it 28 percent wider than the previous version; this enables the big-mountain freeskier to increase power transmission on fatter skis. It’s still easy to switch from downhill to AT mode using levers located safely under the boot. In AT mode the entire binding interface shifts back four centimeters for better balance while ascending and maneuvering. Additional upgrades include the new Triple Pivot Elite toe system and Inter-Pivot step-in heel system. The Duke EPF is designed for skis 89mm and wider.
