2016/2017 Nordica Belle 84 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Frontside Category.

“Easy to steer and stable on ‘softpacked’ snow, but the tip can be a little squirrely on the flats,” says Harkins of the Belle 84. Highest tester points for 84-mm-waisted ski came in for stability, lowest for playfulness. Nordica adds slight rocker in both the blunt shaped tip and tapered tail. A core with multiple balsa wood stringers, used for its high strength-to-weight ratio and shock absorbing properties, makes up the ski’s construction, and the steel edges are reinforced with rubber. “This is a damp frontside ski accessible to intermediates and up who want to smear and skid turns,” says Muecke.
