2016/2017 Blizzard Quattro 80 Ti ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Frontside Category and awarded it an Editors’ Choice honor.

“Like the Audi Quattro, you can take this stable and reliable ski anywhere,” says Muecke. The Austrian ski company welcomes comparisons to Audi’s surface-hugging four-wheel-drive system, and in fact, partnered with Audi to release the new Blizzard Quattro series. At 80-mm underfoot, the Blizzard Quattro 80 Ti has tip and tail rocker along with a sandwich sidewall construction with bamboo in the core, reinforced with a layer of Titanal. Blizzard’s IQ system, designed for a natural flex and energy transition, is integrated into the ski and fixed by one screw. Testers gave the Blizzard Quattro 80 Ti highest scores for carving (it tied for highest carving scores in the category), lower scores for playfulness. “This fast cruiser favors GS turns and steeps—anything steep,” says Harkins.
