2016/2017 Rossignol Hero Elite LT Ti ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s Frontside Category.

Multiple testers used the term “one-trick pony” to describe the Rossignol Hero Elite LT Ti, followed by “great edge hold,” “no speed limit,” “damp” and “powerful,” a testament to the ski’s lowest scores in versatility and highest in stability. One of four skis in the Hero Race series, this 69-mm-waisted ski contains two layers of Titanal in a World Cup sandwich laminate construction. The curvy sidecut includes a slightly rockered wide Cascade tip and flat tail. Prop Tech technology, also featured in high-level Rossi race skis, appears as three longitudinal cuts in the ski’s forebody, designed for easier torsional flex. “A carver’s paradise on bullet proof snow or corduroy,” says Dittmar. “Be careful you don’t get kicked off the mountain for skiing too fast.” This system ski comes with a Konect binding, which is WTR (Walk-To-Ride) compatible.
