2016/2017 K2 Super Charger ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s Frontside Category.

K2’s on-piste collection includes three Chargers, all with tip rocker, flat tails, full-length sidewalls, narrow waist widths and similar technology stories. “This frontside ski is versatile in terms of turn shape variety and its ability to skid as well as carve,” says Loomans of the curvy 76-mm-waisted Super Charger. Construction includes a full sheet of metal, K2’s RoX carbon grid and an aspen/paulownia wood core. Testers awarded the Super Charger its highest scores for carving, lowest for playfulness. “This ski is best suited for a solid western skier,” says Bills. “It’s best on softer snow and holds on everything except ice.”
