2016/2017 Blizzard Quattro RX ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s Frontside Category and awarded it an Editors’ Choice honor.

Blizzard unveils a new groomed snow collection with the Quattro series, with a tagline of “make your mark.” The Blizzard Quattro RX rightfully made its mark in the ski test, grabbing the highest average score in the Frontside Category, as well as highest scores for stability, with slightly lower for playfulness. “Power, stability and a clean edge, this ski is very versatile for a Frontside model,” says Dittmar. Construction for the 84-mm-waisted ski includes wood, Titanal and carbon combined with Blizzard’s integrated IQ binding interface, fixed by one center screw. The rocker profile includes 2 mm in both the tip and tail. “It’s not quite a race ski, but it has enough edge hold and power to satisfy your need for speed,” says Bills.
