Bergans Bjerke Jacket review. OnTheSnow reviewed this jacket as part of its 2015/2016 Lifestyle Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: The Bjerke is a stylish jacket with an equally stylish liner (with its own hood), that can be worn separate from the shell if desired. The shell offers a unique zipper and button closure system that gives the jacket a distinguished look. Other notable features are an adjustable hood/bottom hem and a high collar and extended back that are perfect for colder days.

Room for Improvement: Without a way to connect the liner and shell at the cuffs, it becomes all too easy to pull the liner out when taking the jacket off.

Fit: The large (U.S. L) tested fit true to size. Zipping the collar completely up proved to be a bit challenging and a little snug for our likes.

Manufacturer Description: Bjerke is three in one garment, and is suitable for year-round use. The outer jacket/coat is made from 2-layer windproof, waterproof and breathable Bergans Element fabric. The inner jacket/coat is made from technical wool and provides excellent insulation and natural temperature regulation. The pieces may be worn separately or connected by their zips into a single garment. Bjerke is part of Bergans lifestyle and travel range, which consists of smart everyday garments offering the protective properties of technical clothing.
