Obermeyer Peak Shell Pant review. OnTheSnow reviewed this pant as part of its men's 2015/2016 Pants Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Obermeyer spared no expense with the beefy buttons and zippers found on the Peak Shell Pant. The full side zips are a nice option to have for easy-on and easy-off functionality, but perhaps a bit out of place on a resort inspired pant. Overall, a very comfortable, stylish pant that can stand up to seasons of abuse.

Room for Improvement: The full side zips are convenient, however, they don’t allow for ventilation when things heat up. We liked the reinforced cuffs, but would have liked to see gaiters for added protection.

Fit: The Peak Shell Pant tested (U.S. M) fit true to size, allowing for plenty of maneuverability and range of motion through the knees and waist. The included, adjustable belt picks up any slack along the waistline.

Manufacturer Description: A full side zip shell pant that is perfect from the dead of winter to the party on closing day. Belted for added comfort and constructed with 30K HydroBlock Elite fabrics that are bonded for added durability. Skin up at first light in or jump on the first chair. The improved storm cuff this year protects on the deepest powder days and the full waterproof zipper adds flexibility. The Peak Shell Pant is ready to drop the steepest descents and tackle the cardio ascents.
