Millet Cosmic Couloir GTX Pant review. OnTheSnow reviewed this pant as part of its men's 2015/2016 Pants Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: The Millet Cosmic Couloir GTX pant works well in conjunction with the Cosmic Couloir jacket, connecting along three belt loops via elastic snaps on the powder skirt. Each of the lengthy side vents offers three (not two) water-repellent injection-molded zippers, allowing the user to vary ventilation throughout the day. Sharp styling, rugged material and bonus zippers—what’s not to love?

Room for Improvement: The Cosmic Couloir does not offer a bib or suspender system, a nice option to have when exploring the backcountry. The belt system seems to be an afterthought on this pant, using a combination of plastic and nylon to ineffectually secure the family jewels.

Fit: The preformed knees on this (U.S. L) allowed for excellent range of motion. The waist felt snug on someone who comfortably fits into most large size pants; consider sizing up if your abs are less than chiseled.

Manufacturer Description: Protective pants for committed big mountain skiers and ski mountaineers, built from GORE-TEX® 3L laminate. Durable, rugged, and lightweight.
