2015/2016 Dynastar Cham W 2.0 97 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s All-Mountain Back Category.

“Dynamic and responsive in variable snow conditions,” says Van Deursen of the redesigned Cham W 2.0 97. The 97-mm-waisted freeride model received its highest scores for float, lower for stability. “It’s stable in soft conditions, but chatters on hardpack,” says Muecke. Dynastar set out to increase versatility this season by adding more rocker, tweaking the core materials and smoothing out the sidecut. Design specs include full-length vertical sidewall, a moderately rockered tip and a five-point sidecut (where the forebody is the widest part of the ski) along with a flat pintail. The core of the Cham W 2.0 97 includes weight-reducing paulownia wood and fiberglass laminate.
