2015/2016 Nordica Wild Belle ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s All-Mountain Front Category.

“Strong, stable and able,” says Johnson of the updated Wild Belle. Nordica adds a Balsa Core, made up of multiple thin balsa wood stringers (visible through the topsheet) designed for lightness, edge grip and a damp feel. Testers gave the 88-mm-waisted ski its highest marks for stability and lowest scores in the playfulness arena. “These skis don’t have much snap, but they edge well, feel solid at speed and transition easily from groomer to accidental mogul fields,” says Van Deursen. The blunt-shaped tip has significant rocker, while the flat tail has slight rocker.
