2015/2016 Atomic Vantage 90 CTiW ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s All-Mountain Front Category, awarding it an Editors’ Choice.

“A stable, reliable ski that moves through snow rather than floats,” says Balandina of the Vantage 90 CTiW. Atomic’s redesigned Vantage series lightens up thanks to new technology for 2015/2016. As the name implies, Carbon Tank Mesh adds a layer of strong yet lightweight woven mesh to the construction; and Firewall, a move by Atomic from the partial Step Down Sidewall of past skis, adds full sidewalls. The Ti Backbone 2.0 includes a backbone-shaped titanium insert that runs up and down the length of the ski. Testers gave the Vantage 90 CTiW high scores across the board, with top scores for stability and versatility. “This ski has a big range,” says Kelly. “It’s got giddyup and go, especially if you work it.”
