2015/2016 Nordica NRGy 90 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s All-Mountain Front Category.

There are four skis in the all-mountain NRGy family, ranging in waist widths from 107-mm down to 80-mm. The NRGy 90’s highest scores were a tie between carving and playfulness, lower for versatility. “Light, wide and able to carve well,” says Bills. “I’m surprised a ski this light can be this stable.” The 90-mm-waisted ski features I-Core Torsion Bridge Ti Technology, which adds a bridge-shaped sheet of Titanal with strategically cut geometric shapes in the wood core for torsional rigidity as well as weight reduction. The tips and tails are tapered and have slight rocker. “The ski found the bottom in soft snow, but it’s at home on edge arcing hardpack or maneuvering through crud,” says Gaudet.
