2015/2016 Armada Invictus 89 Ti ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s All-Mountain Front Category, awarding it an Editors’ Choice.

Armada’s Invictus “all-mountain machine” series includes four skis and three waist widths (108 mm, 95 mm and 89 mm) as well as similar construction (with the exception of the Invictus 95, which does not have Titanal). The Invictus 89 Ti has AR Nose Rocker, adding tip rocker to the Invictus’ wide, blunted tip, creating “a balance of playful and powerful,” according to Pugliese. Other design specs include a top and bottom layer of Titanal, full sidewall construction and Armada’s Double Zone Core made with lightweight wood and ski-length carbon fiber strips. Highest scores came in for stability, with lowest scores for float. “Solid enough to handle everything from choppy conditions to hard pack and stable on edge in a variety of turn shapes,” says Gaudet.
