2015/2016 Blizzard Brahma ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its men’s All-Mountain Front Category and awarded it an Editors’ Choice honor.

The Brahma (named after a famous bull) is on a roll, or as they say in the rodeo, a riding streak. As a second-time Editors’ Choice winner, testers praise the ski’s “race room stability,” says Stoeger, and “hard-charging love of carving,” adds Witman. Indeed, it received high scores for stability and carving, lower for playfulness and float. Blizzard says the 88-mm-waisted Brahma has a construction designed for edge hold and stability—including sandwich sidewalls plus two-and-a-half sheets of titanium stacked around a full wood core. The Brahma also features tip and tail rocker added during the production process with Blizzard’s Flipcore 3D technology and sidewalls designed for constant edge pressure over the length of the ski. “This damp and powerful ski works well as long as you don’t fall asleep behind the wheel,” cautions Maybon.
