2015/2016 Blizzard Sheeva ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Powder Category and awarded it an Editors’ Choice honor.

“A fun, stable go-to powder ski for all levels,” says Johnson of the Blizzard Sheeva. Notching highest for float and stability, testers awarded the 104-mm-waisted freeride ski high scores all around. The Sheeva has what Blizzard calls Lite Core, which consists of a wood core made from a blend of poplar, bamboo and paulownia plus a layer of titanium around the binding area. Flipcore 3D technology adds tip and tail rocker in the molding process instead of bending it afterwards, and the sandwich compound sidewalls have a race lineage. “This is one of the few powder skis I felt really wanted to turn on flatter slopes,” says Van Deursen. “For being such a good floater, it’s also agile edge-to-edge.”
