FIRST IMPRESSIONS: In another iteration of The North Face’s freeride-focused gear, these pants offer impressive mobility and functionality. You won’t be longing for more space, and the fit is relaxed enough for the most aggressive park enthusiast. The ventilation zippers are on the small side, and with mesh lining, may not be enough for some skiers (they’re also found along the inner thighs).

FAVORITE FEATURES: Most skiers won’t have enough accessories to fill the pockets on the Slasher Cargo pant. You’ll get two zippered pockets and four more cargo-style pockets to hide pretty much anything you can think of. The lining offers a bit more warmth than a traditional shell, but it stops short of being a fully-insulated pant.

MANUFACTURER DESCRIPTION: Workwear-influenced pants with a park-specific fit help you get the job done when mastering new tricks or rail combos. HyVent multi-layer waterproofing and fully taped seams keep you dry while waiting to drop in or blasting through deep pow. Relaxed waist with adjustable tabs and park fit offers more room through the thigh, knee and cuff for you to get low and execute grabs. Flap cargo pockets and zippered hand pockets provide plenty of places to stash snacks, tune-up tools, and your wallet.
