2015 K2 Remedy 112 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Powder Category.

As K2’s widest women’s ski, the Remedy 112 has a blunt-shaped and tapered tip and tail design (sidecut: 135-112-130) made to feel surfy and loose in powder. To add off-piste versatility, the rockered tip is also skin compatible. Testers responded with equally high scores for stability and flotation. “Strong skiers, this is your remedy to crazy conditions,” says Muecke. The core includes lightweight paulownia wood in the tip and tail along with strong aspen wood underfoot. K2’s TwinTech sidewall-protecting technique rolls the topsheet into the sidewall. “Take this ski off-piste and know it’s a solid performer without big surprises,” says Rodman. “It transitions well in a variety of conditions and goes from edge to edge with ease.”
