2015 Blizzard Sheeva ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Powder Category.

Blizzard’s ski names tie in with the world of bull riding, and the Sheeva received bovine-inspired adjectives as testers gave it high scores for stability and float, lower for playfulness. “Consider it a beefy, stable ski for strong skiers,” says Johnson. “It’s a solid carver that moves easily from powder to hardpack without missing a beat.” The Sheeva has sandwich sidewalls, a wood core made from a blend of poplar, bamboo and paulownia, plus a layer of titanium. Flipcore 3D technology adds tip and tail rocker in the molding process instead of bending it afterwards. “There’s no rest on the groomers with this stiff ski,” says Sibley. “It’s most enjoyable in the powder where it floats well and cruises over crud.”
