Giro Contact Goggle review. OnTheSnow reviewed this goggle as part of its 2016/2017 Goggle Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Giro hypes their Contact goggle as being “click it and rip it” ready. We concur. The "Snapshot Magnetic Lens Interchange System" is a lot simpler than it sounds; switching between lenses is as easy as pushing a single button, and the self-locating magnets feel sturdy and accurate. The semi-frameless design looks sharp, and the two included lenses give the wearer options while on the mountain. Well done.

Room for Improvement: While there is adequate venting along the top and sides of the Contact, we’d like to see additional venting along the bottom as well.

Fit: The Contact uses a spherical lens, which provides an ergonomic fit and enhances peripheral vision. The wraparound-feel is mighty comfortable and is a perfect fit for medium to large faces.

On-Snow Performance: Our tester acclaims the Giro Contact as the best goggle of all time, rocking a comfortable fit suited for any head size and providing great storm skiing visibility with the low-light lens. Yet to experience any fogging, he recommends this goggle to all, unconditionally.

Manufacturer Description: The breakthrough design of the EXV Contact goggle makes it easy to adapt instantly to changing weather and light conditions. Snapshot Magnetic Lens Interchange System sets a new standard in fast, accurate and secure lens interchange by utilizing a shutter button-release and locking mechanism. Self-locating magnets guide and hold the lens securely into place in its semi-frameless design. The Contact offers an outstanding field of view and includes two premium optical Lenses by ZEISS.
