anon. Nova Women’s Helmet review. OnTheSnow reviewed this helmet as part of its 2016/2017 Helmet Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Perhaps the softest next-to-head material a helmet’s ever delivered (Expedition Fleece), we love this sleek-fitting style from anon. for that and so many other reasons. MIPS, ICEDot, on-demand vents and Fidlock® Snap buckle to name a few.

Room for Improvement: We love the brand’s Simple Fit with the option to remove the ear flaps and liners, but it’s not immediately obvious how to do so.

Fit: It took us a second to find the Boa dial, which is placed slightly higher than we’re used to. Once located, the In-Shell 360° Boa® Fit System locks the helmet down without actually feeling like it’s getting tighter. In other words, it’s magic.

Manufacturer Description:The women’s anon. Nova helmet features the In-Shell 360° Boa® Fit System, providing easy, on-the-go fit adjustment with the turn of a dial. The Hybrid 50/50 shell construction combines durability on top with the performance of a featherweight bottom. MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) offers advanced protection against angled impacts, while ICEdot Emergency ID stores emergency contact and medical information for first responders. Active Ventilation gives you one-handed control over 23 total vents, so you can fine tune your temperature depending on the weather and activity.
