Seirus Solarsphere Brink Gloves review. OnTheSnow reviewed these gloves as part of its 2016/2017 Gloves/Mittens Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Thanks to the slick-looking sunlight absorbing materials, the Solarsphere gloves are old school cool. The price point on these gloves should be a sigh of relief for budget conscious skiers. We loved the feel of the uber-soft waterproof, breathable insert, and the ripstop shell provides a durable layer between you and the elements.

Room for Improvement: A few additional colorways would go a long way to make these gloves really pop.

Fit: The Solarsphere fits true to size, and the form fit design is both comfortable and easy to flex.

Manufacturer Description: Solarshpere insulation has been tested and shown to absorb IR and increase heat about 10° more compared to other commonly used insulations. Seirus attributes this to the properties of the materials fibers as well as the spherical shape which increases the amount of warmth it is able to store/trap. The sunlight is absorbed and then converted to heat via the Solarsphere insulation, and the warmth is thus transferred to your hand.
