HeatTouch™ Torche™ Component System review. OnTheSnow reviewed these gloves as part of its 2016/2017 Gloves/Mittens Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: There’s A LOT going on here with the Seirus component system between the on-demand heated liner, separate outer glove and whole shebang with the two worn together. Intimidating at first glance, we like how intuitive the batteries are to charge, connect and insert into the liners. We also love the individual components worn on their own.

Room for Improvement: When worn together, however, you’re sacrificing dexterity for warmth, which may be a good selling point for those whose hands get so cold they’re unable to move anyway. The battery packs feel stiff when sliding the glove on, but likely easy to forget/forgive after wearing a few minutes. We’re definitely missing a pull loop on both liner and outer, and we managed to break the cuff adjust and leash on one, which we’ll chalk up to a sample defect.

Fit: Both liner and outer glove fit comfortably true to size in all configurations with two adjustment points to secure the outer.
