The North Face Kelvin Gloves review. OnTheSnow reviewed these gloves as part of its 2016/2017 Gloves/Mittens Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Keep your strudels toasty with this stylish offering from The North Face. Billed as a “technical mountaineering glove,” the Kelvin’s deliver Gore-Tex protection and water-resistant cowhide leather. Standout features include a full-length gauntlet (extended cuff) and removable wrist leashes.

Room for Improvement: The wrist cinch is a nice addition, however, we’d like to see a loop of some sort to keep the tag end from flapping in the breeze.

Fit: The “5 Dimensional Fit” and “Radiametric Articulation” make this glove super comfortable, and allow your hands to rest in their natural position.

On-Snow Performance: The glove is true to size and kept tester hands warm and dry on a cold and windy 25-degree day with 8” of powder putting them to task. The articulated fingers provided great shape and a natural feel while gripping ski poles, and the Gore-Tex leather held up against the wet conditions.

Manufacturer Description: Get pinnacle protection in the mountains with this technical ski mountaineering glove that's rafted with a Gore-Tex® insert and water-resistant leather.
