Patagonia Women's Insulated Snowbelle Pant review. OnTheSnow reviewed these insulated pants as part of its 2016/2017 Pants Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: There’s almost nothing we don’t absolutely adore about these soft-handed yet super lightweight pants from Patagonia, from the fit on down to the cool and unique purple-grey Lupine color we took for a spin. The brand’s recycled poly Thermogreen® insulation is warm and packable for an on-the-go, go-to, and we also love that they don’t commit you to one length, with three options available.

Room for Improvement: We like that the waist adjusts but prefer the implementation on the outside of the pant where the Velcro won’t irritate next to skin.

Fit: Despite their “slim” spec, we actually found these pants to be on the more generous side of the sizing spectrum and a touch long for a regular fit. To be clear, we love them for that on both fronts—a bit of still-flattering bagginess is always attractive for its movement enhancement.

On-Snow Performance: Our 5'11" tester loved the length of these pants over her boots, but was less a fan of the wider leg, usually opting for a slim fit. She did, however, appreciate the waist tabs that allowed for easy adjustments throughout the day and were functional enough to skip a belt. Lightweight and comfortable, The Snowbelle pant moves and skis with ease.

Manufacturer Description: Updated this season with new design lines and a lighter-weight insulation package for better versatility, these fully featured H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer pants are insulated with Thermogreen® polyester and have an articulated fit for freedom of movement and a smooth taffeta liner for ease of layering.
