There's no better of a way to finish out a solid powder day after the ski slopes close then to hop on the new Gondola 1 at sunset. The storm finally cleared after more then 5 days of snow. We caught the Gondola # 50. The only, all gold cabin, commemorating 50 years of Vail. - © Jeff Cricco

It was DEEP at Crystal Mountain over the past two days and we showed up just in time. Day one found snow dumping late into the evening as the next morning brought 14 inches of untracked powder to be had. Early ups on the gondola meant we didn't have to wait in line and even better had the mountain almost all to ourselves. Here's a teaser for the episode coming soon.
