It was so good we are returning next year. We've visited more than 50 ski resorts around the world, Trysill is the best in Europe only some Canadian resorts equal or better. hotels are fantastic, the Norwegian people are very friendly and keen to help. T

Full review

As I've already stated fantastic for families, teenagers, or emerging wrinkler like myself who has skied around the world for 60 years. Few hotels in resort, more in village which is an easy walk from the Tourist Centre. The pistes will entertain any intermediate skier with a variety of runs, some through trees, several fast steep black runs, nothing like the double diamonds in Canada but still great fun. Waiting times at most life are minimal during the week and non holiday periods, evening skiing can be very busy. We asked Ski Safari to arrange all travel and accommodation - no problems, great organisation. Looking forward to next season when a new high speed chairlift will be in operation opening up another part of the mountain.
