Easy access. Good snow. Friendly staff. Beautiful weather.
40% are snowboarding on beginner/intermediate slopes. Poor etiquette from the 14-30 year old crowd.

Although WCP did a great job of keeping up with busy lifts the week after Christmas, it’s clear they didn’t anticipate the huge crowds turning out for good snow. Ski instructors are terrific and staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly! Snow was amazing and the sun can’t be any better! A couple of things that could improve this family friendly ski area: 1.Slopes need better trail markers further in advance. Challenging to change to the right ski trail at the last minute if you’re unfamiliar with WCP. 2. Snowboarders need their own slopes; they’re super aggressive and not well trained to stop. They also carve up the slopes as they do tricks, leaving holes and icy sheer spots. This creates an environment of defensive skiing which is not enjoyable. 3. While not everyone behaves recklessly, there are the occasional customers that place a camera in their hands while skiing down the slope, not watching others and carelessly putting others at risk. It would be helpful to have ski patrol monitoring some of the most dangerous activities.
