Northstar California - Hard packed powder on groomed runs and thick heavy sludge on the the non groomed stuff. Mostly a nice sunny day but early afternoon for more windy and things started to get icy in certain spots.

Northstar California - hey guys! I drove up there today. It was raining. It rained last night. I could see the golf course it's so dry. I'm a spoiled rider. We need at least 3 more storms for it to be worth anything. it's not worth the drive..or money. I have a pass still waiting to use.

Northstar California - Snow is pretty terrible, but it's virtually all man made and the temps at the top are in the 40's so you can't expect much. Lift lines aren't bad and still good fun.

Northstar California - best grooming of the 4 resorts i hit in tahoe since Saturday. ...great for beginners and family so many wide trails,blacks are forgiving too but have some good speed runs and vertical drops. also best glades i hit. fantastic warm weather low 30s most lifts running

Northstar California - Skied 1/23 conditions do not any better. Deep snowpack so no obstacles anywhere and mountain fully open, knee to waist deep dry powder, cold temps with no wind so snow stayed light all day, no crowds. AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!

Northstar California - I was there Sun 4/3. Snow was great in the morning when it was colder outside. Once sun was out, snow started to get slushy. Still great enough to get some good runs in.

Northstar California - I was up last weekend. Northstar' snow was really wet and sticky Saturday, but turned out to be pretty good Sunday with a fresh powder. Through the trees was best. Monday was amazing. Light and dry fluffy powder everywhere. Backside had incredible powder.

Northstar California - The last two people who gave reports on here have no clue what they're talking about other then it being pretty tracked out but what do you expect when the fluff storm hits and slams down a bunch of powder. Yesterday was amazing, no wet snow and not sticky AT ALL.

Northstar California - Thursday 2/18, 1+ feet everywhere and thigh to waist deep pow in the trees. Not wet or clumpy but heavy. Tracking fresh in anything less than black diamond pitch and you risk stalling out thigh deep. Backside didn't open til noon and when I left at 3pm there was still tons of untracked. Fri is gonna be an EPIC powder/packed powder day. Go get some!
