Revelstoke is an awesome mountain. It is unreal with the right conditions. I was lucky and the mountain got pounded with snow when we were there. With no crowds and sick lines that are different each time my legs were the only thing keeping me from skiing till closing. (and the sketchy run beneath Gondola. Heads up NO signs indicating upcoming danger on it. Don't leave to the last run of the day...) Base gondola has a long line on powder days but clears up at the top. It is the only way up. An easy way to check on powder i peeping the gnome cam and hope his belly is covered. The town has a ski/snowboard charm to it, everyone there seems to be a hardcore skier. a lot of good coffee and food places. All rental stores are also equipped with legit powder skis which you will need if you don't own a pair
