Achensee/Tirol Ski Resorts

Skiing vacations in Achensee are characterised by a huge variety of cross-country ski runs. The region also offers slopes in all difficulties. Achensee’s net of cross-country ski runs spans an area of more than 200 km. You can find all levels of difficulty here but especially the easy ones are numerous. The ski areas Pertisau and Achenkrich do have snow-making equipment available for all the cross-country ski runs.

But Achensee is suitable for alpine skiers as well. Red, blue and black slopes are available. The longest downhill in the region takes 6 km until you reach the valley and is located in Rofan.

Moreover, the Achensee region offers several toboggan runs (mostly well-lit in the evenings), 150 km of winter footpaths as well as opportunities to enjoy a ride in a sleigh or to do snow tubing.
