First-hand Reports

This is from after the storm on Aug 26th - 2.5 ft! Next couple days were warm bluebirds and melted a lot. After we left they must have had a lot more snow since it poured in Santiago all day yesterday, which certainly means snow up in the Andes. Valle Nevado was great! That despite a poor snow year. The staff were super nice and the food was awesome (and free at our hotel as well!). Fun mountain though I wish they'd expand even more to really interconnect El Colorado etc and add lifts where there are rope tows (though those were fun once I got the hang of it on my board). Hope to be back! Love Valle Nevado!
