Full review

I grew up skiing Snowy Range, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. In the last few years I have been to several resorts in WY and CO. In my opinion Snowy Range is one of the best places for beginners and lower intermediate skiers to go. The slopes are almost always free of traffic and the conditions can be really great at times. If you like mogals, they have some great bumps here. The mogals are not normally really deep but they are placed in great spots. It is also a good place to learn how to ski mogals. Lifts lines are never long, and they lifts are set up well so you are not sitting on them half the day just to get up the mountian. So if your goal is to make a lot of runs, this is the place to do it. They don't get the epic snow that a lot of ski areas get so there are times when a lot of runs may be closed due lack of snow, but I will always love Snowy Range. If you fancy yourself an expert skier, you had better think about a little tougher mountian to ski. But if you want to enjoy a lot of fun skiing with friends and family, this is the place to go.
