  • Coombs on Jackson's Headwall

    By Becky Lomax Last week, Wyoming's Jackson Hole dedicated a run to Doug Coombs, a legendary ski mountaineer who was killed in France in an April ski accident. Originally from Massachusetts, Coombs was noted for pioneering routes in the Tetons and Alaska; he was the first to win the World Extreme Skiing Championships in Valdez in 1991. Full Article
